Invisible Inkling is the story of a pandapat, an invisible creature from the Peruvian Woods of Mystery - or possibly the Ukraine(?). Inkling has one goal in mind - squash, his favorite food. When Inkling finds his way into Hank's laundry basket in Brooklyn - how did he get THERE??? - Hank's bully problems become Inkling's as well.

Emily in all her various incarnations! Under the name E. Lockhart, she writes funny, thoughtful books for teens -
The Boyfriend List, The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks - and her books for younger readers are just as good.
